On the 10-12th of March 2008 in “Issyk-Kul Aurora” sanatorium, Komsomol village, fifth annual meeting of enterprises of fruit and vegetable industry of Kyrgyzstan took place. Directors of fruit and vegetable enterprises and of a number of dairy enterprises, representatives of government, financial, donor organizations operating with the industry participated in the meeting.
Association of fruit and vegetable enterprises (AFVEK) presented a report to participants on work carried out over the year 2007, also presentations of the Strategy of development of fruit and vegetable industry for the years 2008-2012 and the Strategy of development of AFVEK were held.
Plan of operations and priorities of development of the industry for the period 2008-2012 was worked out.
